About Artisan

I've had a burning passion for cars and motorcycles since before I can remember. And of the many chores I was given as a kid, the one that I always looked forward to was car washing and waxing. I'd treat our family cars, my uncle's Lincolns when he visited, and even my neighbor's sailboats. I couldn't get enough. That was in the days of kitchen sponges, dish soap, and Turtle paste wax--it felt great to make a car shine.

We've come a long way since then. Over the years of owning hobby cars and too many bikes to count, I found that I had accumulated a good deal of knowledge about cleaning and protecting paint, chrome, leather, and fabric. Along the way, I'd pick up the new products and tools of the day, experimenting until I found something I liked. I went through a lot of products with the intent to discover their benefits and differences.
